Callum’s 2009 season Update.

Callum season got off to mixed start and was halted after the Croft round due to Tempus Sport going into administration. The main consequence of this was no continued support and sponsorship deals that were being concluded were lost or put on hold.

 Two directors of the failed Tempus Sport racing team formed a new team Bamboo Engineering based at Silverstone but the chance of getting Callum’s sponsors back on board was lost for this season.

So for the third year Callum has started a season with so much to race for and circumstances not under his control have thwarted his efforts to complete a season in Formula Renault BARC.

John Santos, Callum’s Sponsorship Manager and Richard Coleman of Bamboo engineering are working on next season’s budget to bring sponsors to the team and Callum for a 2010 campaign for Formula Renault. Hopefully 2010 will be Callum’s year.

Callum in his spare time when not working has been driver coaching for a karting team and keeping himself very fit in the gym and playing both cricket and rugby.
