Sponsorship - why should a company sponsor callum holland
Partnership finalised
IrisGuard Inc. (www.Irisguard.com) are supporting Callum for the 2009 season.
John Santos ([ mailto:jsantos@callumholland.com) is still working on other funding sources so that Callum can have the best chance of competing for a
championship win.
Callum Holland is an 18 year old Motorsport Driver who is endeavouring to reach a full time racing career and who has been told be Nigel Mansell "he has the necessary ammunition to compete on the world stage alongside the likes of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.
…..But to get him there he needs sponsors!
He is currently racing in Formula Ford (www.formulaford.co.uk) as a scholarship driver and is using this platform as one of the many stepping stones to Formula 1.
However for Callum to go forward and be recognized, he now requires major sponsorship from one or more companies who want to invest in him all the way to Formula 1 and who want to see a return on that investment. The investment will include full media coverage (TV, web and printed), advertising on the car and VIP hospitality.
Callum recently has been chosen to be a test driver for InterMotorsport to redevelop the Comtec Chassis for the Trident Group over the winter of 2008.
…… the next goal!
RBS Williams F1 Team Headquarters - Callum was invited as a guest by Formula Palmer Audi to the launch of the new FIA Formula Two Series; a new category run by Motor Sport Vision and with cars designed by none other than the legendary Patrick Head.
Formula Two was an F1 feeder series up until the 1980s, then it became Formula 3000 and more recently GP2, but the FIA began a programme that would create a more cost effective feeder category for today’s young, talented drivers without the astronomical budgets required for other categories. This new series provides a full F1 test for its champion and FIA Super Licences for its top three meaning that they can progress straight into Formula One! This is a massive prize and the championship is sure to generate some attention when it kicks-off in May 2009. More information can be found at www.formulatwo.com.
